شاركت جمعية ريحانة في فعاليات اختتام مشروع التربية الإعلامية – العام الثالث، الذي نظمته جامعة بيت لحم، والذي تضمن عرض مبادرات الطلبة المجتمعية المنفذة ضمن إطار التعليم الخدمي.
وتخلّل اللقاء عرض عدد من المبادرات الطلابية الهادفة إلى ربط المعرفة الأكاديمية بالواقع المجتمعي، حيث جاءت مبادرة صحافة الموبايل، التي نُفّذت في جمعية ريحانة بالشراكة مع جامعة بيت لحم، في المرتبة الثانية على مستوى المبادرات المشاركة، تقديرًا لأثرها المجتمعي ومضمونها التطبيقي.
وشاركت مديرة الجمعية، شذا العزة، كممثلة عن جمعية ريحانة، مؤكدةً على أهمية هذا النوع من التعليم الخدمي، الذي يسعى إلى تعزيز العدالة المعرفية من خلال بناء علاقة تكاملية بين الجامعة والمجتمع، وتحويل المعرفة النظرية إلى أدوات عملية تسهم في تمكين الشباب وخدمة قضاياهم المجتمعية.
وأشارت إلى أن مبادرة صحافة الموبايل شكّلت مساحة تعليمية تطبيقية للشباب، جمعت بين تنمية المهارات الإعلامية، وتعزيز الوعي النقدي، والانخراط الميداني، واستخدام الإعلام كأداة وعي ومساءلة ونضال، بما يعكس دور المؤسسات القاعدية في احتضان المبادرات التعليمية ذات البعد المجتمعي، وتعزيز الشراكات مع المؤسسات

Rihannah Association participated in the closing event of the Media Literacy Project – Third Year, organized by Bethlehem University, which featured presentations of students’ community-based initiatives implemented within the framework of service-learning education.
The event showcased a number of student initiatives aimed at linking academic knowledge with community realities. Among these initiatives, the Mobile Journalism Initiative, implemented at Rihannah Association in partnership with Bethlehem University, won second place among the participating initiatives, in recognition of its community impact and practical approach.
The Association’s Director, Shatha Al‑Azza, participated as a representative of Rihannah Association, emphasizing the importance of this form of service-learning education in promoting knowledge justice through building an integrative relationship between the university and the community, and transforming theoretical knowledge into practical tools that contribute to youth empowerment and the advancement of community causes.
She also noted that the Mobile Journalism Initiative provided an applied educational space for youth, combining the development of media skills, critical awareness, and field engagement, and utilizing media as a tool for awareness, accountability, and advocacy. This reflects the role of grassroots organizations in embracing community-oriented educational initiatives and strengthening partnerships with academic institutions.
