Who we are
The Rihannah Association is a non-governmental, and non-partisan Palestinian institution, founded in August 2023 and officially registered as a non-profit organization under the legal framework of the Charitable Societies and Civil Society Organizations Law No. (1) of 2000. Our headquarters is situated in Bethlehem, in the Beit Jibreen ‘Al-Azzeh’ camp. Our unwavering commitment is underpinned by a philosophy dedicated to cultivating local human resources, fostering sustainable development and achieving self-sufficiency. The Association’s impactful initiatives are driven by four core pillars: environmental and cultural enrichment, social progress, and local economic empowerment.

Rihannah’s Mission
Rihannah is an independent, non-profit association dedicated to working in the fields of culture and the environmental and social development, focusing on children, youth, and women. Our mission is to foster their development through active community engagement, ultimately leading to the creation of an environmentally sustainable and economically empowered Palestinian society.
Goals and Developmental Objectives
- Create a strong institutional focus in the fields of society and the environment, actively involving members of the Palestinian community.
- Enhance youth community participation through voluntary collective efforts, empowering them with skills and competencies.
- Foster sustainable development within local civil society through our association’s initiatives.
- Promote urban agriculture and crop production as a means of economic development and disseminate these ideas within the local community.
- Safeguard the Palestinian environment and preserve natural resources to achieve food sovereignty through sustainable environmental practices.
Rihannah’s Target Groups and Beneficiaries
Rihannah serves a diverse range of target groups through its programs and activities, including:
- Palestinian refugee women.
- Youth.
- Children.
- Farmers in significant areas.
- The local Palestinian market.
Rihannah’s Organizational Structure
General Assembly: The General Assembly consists of 30 members from diverse geographical locations and sectors within Palestine.
Board of Directors: The Board of Directors is composed of nine members: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and five other members. The Board of Directors convenes monthly, with the responsibility of setting short-term goals and overseeing the operations of the Rihannah Association. According to the bylaws of the Rihannah Association, the Board of Directors is elected by the General Assembly every two years
Constituent Assembly
The Constituent Assembly includes six members from the local Palestinian community who are closely connected to the people and stakeholders involved in the case. They are well qualified and deserving of bringing about the desired change by using available resources to achieve justice.
